Why Forest Offsets
Hawai‘i is a premiere travel destination. It’s also the most isolated island chain on earth and is home to the highest number of endangered species in the United States. Every time you visit the Hawaiian Islands, tons of carbon emissions enter the atmosphere. Offset your travel to and around Hawai‘i by donating to HiCO2.ORG. Your donation will be used to plant native trees which take in carbon as they grow, providing healthy habitats for endangered forest birds and other native species, now and into the future.
